How to distinguish a tranny from the real girl
Not to get in to mental problems at a trip in Thailand, I think, it is time to talk about what disturbs and interests many readers: today we will talk about transvestites and transsexuals of Thailand and how to spot them in the crowd of real girls.
Little boring terminology: someone such transvestite, ladyboy, tomboy
The transvestite is a person who changes clothes in clothes of an opposite sex. The transsexual – the person who changes surgically the floor. And that and others we will unite in one group and we will call their Trannies because within Thailand it is almost same group of people.
In general, trannies (and transvestites and transsexuals) in Thailand call Kathoey. Also, Kathoeys are called simply gays and those men who have female manners and a manner of behavior. Here will not tell “Why you act as the woman?”, and will notice “You speak as Kathoey!”
Kathoey it quite to yourself a politically correct nickname for such people. Type as “African American”. In more Americanized part of Thailand the nickname “Ladyboy” for Kathoey walks. Is “Tomboy” a girl who looks as the guy (but only looks!), behaves as the guy and they bring to themselves girls (technically, it is the active lesbian). Trannies at a conversation about themselves use that floor which they try to resemble. Ladyboy speak about themselves in a feminine gender.
Often you may find such persons called shemales and it’s a term often used on the internet. Shemale is often used in adult industry while a lot of regular people have no idea what is the key difference, but in general it’s all the same. The word came from decades ago than all this hype was not so public.
It is amusing that girls who become guys in Thailand so a little that they are not lit in media in any way, somewhere else. But ladyboy even have own beauty contest which it is annually carried out in the country of smiles.
Dealt with the name. Let’s pass to a technical part of a question.
How to distinguish a tranny from the normal girl?
There is a list made on the basis of own communication from a ladyboy and statistics, but each of points separately of course means nothing. If you want to know trannies before you even going to Thailand – check out best tranny cams and chat with them online, so the next time you see them in real you will know for sure what is what.
1) “Adam’s apple” Operation on its removal takes only several minutes and costs couple tens of thousands of Thai rubles. But if the Adam’s apple sticks out, then chance of 99% that it is not a fine half of society, but the brutal male who lost the brutality on a surgical table.

4) “Tall person” – you will not believe, but it is very good sign. In a compartment with a small breast, the real Thai girls have height no more than 165 cm (the most popular growth among girls). 5) “Legs, hands, body proportions” – all know how the real girls look? I will remind – narrow shoulders, wide hips! If on the contrary, then it either very sporty girl or very womanly guy. Here on the fan.
6) “Persistent behavior”. You though be pinned up by hormones, make vaginoplasty, but on your men’s habits to shout “Hey girl” will not affect it in any way. Checked on ladyboys. Generally, trannies are enough passing by men. They shout “obscenities in a tranny to tourists”. Kathoey will ask you “Where you are going?” and without having waited for the answer will add “I’m with you!”
The Thai girls (normal girls, not prostitutes), will only look at you also that very much short and is constraining. Female prostitutes, will fix the eyes, can wink, but nevertheless will remain women with the “I am a woman, I the first do not get acquainted!”. And next time, when once again you will hear from the friend or on TV “I woke up, and she was a MAN!” – do not believe. It is necessary to drink it a lot of alcohol not to sort where the girl and where the guy … Most likely just to the person it became curious “as it with trannies?”, but it is a shame to tell friends the truth.
